CosmicTribune: How did you get started in modeling? Lindsy: I've always wanted to since I was little but everywhere I went to they wanted hundreds of dollars out of my parents so we figured it must be a scam - so I kind of forgot about that whole dream and got married right out of high school and had a couple of kids. I figured my days of modeling were completely ruled out then. Lindsy: But after having kids I seemed to have more "sex appeal" lol than ever before and was constantly being told by people I should get into modeling CosmicTribune: Did having kids add extra curves to your body? Actress Cheryl Ladd (70's Charlie's Angels) credited that for her curvy body Lindsy: Yes it filled me out a little more but it was more than that.... I don't know how to explain it. It was like a totally different aura? I was hit on more than EVER before. Like insanity!!! Constant - even women CosmicTribune: Even women? Are you bi? Lindsy: No, but women were all the sudden telling me too how hot I am. I even had a girl from my hometown come up to me in the bar and ask me if I realized I had some kind of "power" over men |
CosmicTribune: So what did you do then, contact some photographers or a modeling agency ?
Lindsy: Actually I registered on One Model Place and got quite a few jobs on there. But I wanted to do local stuff and went to an agency near my hometown, the BEST agency in Iowa, and he told me he didn't know if I had the right look for Iowa... wich I kind of took as a compliment. So I just kept doing things through one model place and it has been good to me CosmicTribune: Are you still based out of Iowa? Lindsy: Yes I am in Iowa- I will be here forever considering I own several businesses - a hair salon, real estate investment co. and the IOWA BIKINI TEAM. Plus my family CosmicTribune: Wow, sounds like you're a real go-getter Lindsy: Well I kind of take this as a "hobby" because living in Iowa the opportunities aren't as plentiful- If I could do a spread for Maxim or Playboy that would be the ultimate, oh and of course Victoria's Secret CosmicTribune: Most embarrassing moment on a model shoot? Lindsy: I went into the bathroom to change into the bikini I was going to be modeling and I came out and caught the photog. rumaging threw my bags- it was really awkward |

Lindsy: And then he got really mad because I laughed at the bikini he wanted me to wear and he started yelling at me, telling me all us girls from the midwest ... Lindsy: Can u hold one sec Lindsy: That was a radio station. They did a radio interview with me for maxims hometown hotties and want me to come back for another CosmicTribune: 2 radio interviews? Must be that aura you spoke of Lindsy: I guess...it's 1 of the hottest stations in Iowa. I just got an email from another publication asking about my love affair with Patrick Dempsey CosmicTribune: Did you have a love affair with Patrick Dempsey? Lindsy: We had a "moment". Well I had the moment. Haha CosmicTribune: Where did you meet Patrick? Lindsy: It was just this weekend at the Iowa Speedway. I was there last year as a special guest with Rusty Wallace because I was Mrs Iowa, so I made some very good friends at the speedway through that |
CosmicTribune: What do you mean, "well I had the moment" ?
Lindsy: Well I would like to think "we" as in Patrick and I had the moment but I'm assuming it was more me than him. lol. Like I'm still in shock, more me getting "excited" than him CosmicTribune: How should I word this....just how close are you and Patrick? Lovers? Lindsy: NO! But I can see the headlines now.... Mrs. Iowa and Patrick Dempsey....scandal CosmicTribune: So Cosmic Tribune can put that rumor to rest, there is nothing between you and Patrick? Lindsy: Yes....yet .... hahah...My hubby is a very supportive laid back man and would laugh at the whole thing anyway. I've got to go backstage and meet quite a few celebs now and my hubby thinks it's cool CosmicTribune: Name a celeb you met who seemed like an asshole Lindsy: Mmm I can't, I don't want to cause any problems ... ya know... Lets just say some celebs don't care that the sash said "MRS" lol |

CosmicTribune: Biggest misconception people have about you? Lindsy: Would be that I want everyone's husband/man- I would like to tell the ladies who think this "please do not flatter yourself your man is not that amazing anyway". Seriously it's comical to me. CosmicTribune: Are you a flirt? Lindsy: It's just a part of who I am....It's my personality - I'm just really friendly and somtimes women do not like that CosmicTribune: Some people would take that the wrong way, I understand Lindsy: Yes, I'm prob. the most hated chick in my small town sad but true- now the people who really know ME- know that I am a good girl and would do anything to help out a friend. I think it's sad that we as women make such fast judgments on each other that we miss out on great people CosmicTribune: Do you have any secret talents we don't know about? Lindsy: Well I can't tell you my secret talent ...wink ... hahah .. See I joke a lot ! CosmicTribune: Lol ... Last question - tell me something I don't know Lindsy: I don't know if this is what you are looking for but people honestly think I'm a bad mom/wife for modeling and doing the bikini team thing, and truly deep down I enjoy being a wife and mother more than anything else. That is what people do not know about me and it is sad. CosmicTribune: You seem quite sweet, thanks for taking the time Linz! Lindsy: It was fun |
