Interview With A Cutie

Jenny Quinn
Age: 23
Tampa, Florida Model
Website: www.myspace.com/jennyq_t

Jenny: Doesn't Realize Just How Hot She Is

CosmicTribune: How old are you and what was your first modeling job?

Jenny: hhmmm..I think I was 19 and I did a centerfold shoot for a local magazine called Groove. It was tons of fun. I am 23 now, getting up there you know.

CosmicTribune: I've read some stuff you've written in bio sections on modeling portfolios. To tell you the truth, I've always thought that you put modeling on the back burner, like it wasn't that important to you, which surprises me. How important is modeling to you?

Jenny: Actually, I am glad you asked! Modeling is extremely important to me. Problem is I am a full-time student and I work. My education comes first BUT honestly if I can do anything for the rest of my life it would be to model. Yet, modeling is a very competitve industry to get into and sometimes can be a little frustrating. It's not what you know it's who you know. Although I would love to think I can model forever I have to keep my options open. I know it's just that this industry is very shady and very tough. Everyone promises you the world and it's super tough to get ahead. Very discouraging at times.

CosmicTribune: What are you taking at school?

Jenny: Business degree

CosmicTribune: Follow up on your comment -- "Everyone promises you the world" Have a story to tell?

Jenny: I wouldn't like to mention names but pretty much every photographer WITH an exception of a few. I apologize for using a blanket statement but in any case it has been the majority.

CosmicTribune: What has been the highlight of modeling so far?

Jenny: hhhmmm...I would say my MTV show that I did. I WON TOO! The show was called Springbreak Celebrity undercover with Nick Cannon "The Next Dimepiece" It was 10 girls competiting to win and I was one of the three he chose. It was amazing, we spent a week in the Bahamas and got tons of free stuff from American Eagle. I actually met some amazing girls out there, some that have become my best friends today

CosmicTribune: Worst job you've ever had

Jenny: I worked at Publix (a grocery store chain) at like 15. It was terrible. I wore this horrible pastel vest and ugly blue bow tie - super embarrassing. I was a CASHIER...

CosmicTribune: Have you dabbled in acting? Does that interest you?

Jenny: Actually I have not but would love to. I think that's where the longevity in modeling really is. That is my ulitmate goal

CosmicTribune: I'm a big fan of your pics. I think you have an extraordinarily sexy look. You don't shoot nudes correct? Would you consider Playboy magazine if they tapped you on the shoulder?

Jenny: Yes I would and that's the only way. I actually was contacted by a playboy photographer and he wanted me to send nude images BUT....I didn't have any

CosmicTribune: I think you are perfect for Playboy. Single, married, in relationship?

Jenny: Thank you... Yes I am in a relationship for about 6 months now

CosmicTribune: Which celebrity do people say you look like?

Jenny: uummm...I never really got that, one time Liv Tyler but that's it

CosmicTribune: Have a workout regime to stay in shape?

Jenny: I do, I box...I am a fiesty one, I was told I was like a fireworks. That must be the Puerto Rican and Irish

CosmicTribune: You box ????? I would never let you box

Jenny: Well, let me rephrase that...I take boxing classes by a trained professional. It's mainly cardio stuff, nothing like hitting one other. It releases a lot of stress

CosmicTribune: Most models are their own worst critic. What part of you, as a model, do you have to work on the most?

Jenny: My self confidence. I am very critical of myself and tend to compare

CosmicTribune: Biggest misconception people have about you?

Jenny: That I am promiscuous. It's because of my pictures but in reality I am a very reserved person. I just think the body is a beautiful thing and nothing to be ashamed of, just as long as it's done tasteful and classy. In fact I am pretty shy.

www.myspace.com/jennyq_t

CosmicTribune: Even being shy, I bet you get hit on a lot if you go to a bar. Heard any corny pickup lines?

Jenny: Yes all the time...like is that a mirror in your pants, cuz I can see myself in them

CosmicTribune: LoL. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Jenny: I try not to think that far ahead anymore. It stresses me out. I take it one day at a time

CosmicTribune: If you could go on a dinner date with anyone in the world, who would it be with?

Jenny: Sylvia Brown (I am weird I know) Reason being, had my father die, grandmom, and uncles and lost a lot of loved ones in my life. You would think I'd pick Brad Pitt but I know I don't have a chance, so I might as well find someone I can make use of

CosmicTribune: Sorry to hear about the deaths

Jenny: Got to deal with the cards you were dealt. I used to be sorry but that does nothing, I am tough as nails. I take care of my sister and help with my family a lot.

CosmicTribune: Younger sister? Does she model?

Jenny: Yes younger. She's beautiful, turning 18 (uh oh) She's on my myspace page. We are polar opposites, she is very well reserved

CosmicTribune: I like to ask a model what she is wearing today

Jenny: Nothing special. I'm working from home today and just came from the gym. Cheerleading shorts and a sports bra.

CosmicTribune: Were you a cheerleader in high school?

Jenny: Yes I loved it, was on a coed and competition squad and varsity

CosmicTribune: Do you spend much time surfing the internet? Favorite websites?

Jenny: Just MYSPACE, damn that thing is super addicting. It takes up so much of my time I don't have time for anything else but I am slowly weening myself off of it

www.myspace.com/jennyq_t

CosmicTribune: Complete the following - "I wish I had" and also "If I could change anything"

Jenny: I wish I had ..a house in Monterey. If I can change anything it would be my financial state at this point in time

CosmicTribune: I hope you win the lottery then. Do you have any secret talents we don't know about?

Jenny: Dancing, I love to dance

CosmicTribune: You'd be perfect for a music video

Jenny: I would like that but no ghetto stuff. Just like being the main girl, like a love song or something

CosmicTribune: Speaking of that, I didn't ask you your favorite music

Jenny: Love all kinds, big fan of classic rock and 80s

CosmicTribune: Last question - tell me something I don't know

Jenny: Well I love cartoons and I act more like 3 then 23 and I LOVE ATTENTION and affection

CosmicTribune: That's it !! I thank you, beautiful Jenny Quinn.

Jenny: Well thank you, wishing you all the best and thank you for taking the time
