CosmicTribune: Tell us about your modeling career Darlene Darlene: I began my career where I was born in the Dominican Republic, and have furthered my career in NYC. Im interested in Print-editorail/ hair-makeup /fashion/ glamour/swimwear/lingerie/artist-model/runway and casual. Modeling and dancing have always come natural to me. However, I am committed to my profession. Therefore, for the past 10 years I continue to work and study to perfect my skills withing the industry. Fortunately, since I was child, my talent were recognized by top talent scouts. I have worked with A list celebrities, such as Andy Garcia in his movie "The Lost City"; been featured in 50 cent's music video,"Camron's "Funeral"; been in Missy Elliot and Keisha Cole music video "Let It Go"; Roselyn Sanchez music video "Hay Amor". In addition I performed live with various artists such as Daddy Yankee, Ilegales, Enmanuel, Aventura and Don Omar. My short term goal is to sign with an agency that will recognize my talent and assist me in advancing my career. My long term goal is to become the best that I can be within the modeling industry. In addition, I am confident that my experience combined with my dedication and passion to work in this business will make me an execellet candidate to be successful. CosmicTribune: What do you miss the most about the D.R. ?
Darlene: My family, friends and going to the beach any day of the week CosmicTribune: Biggest misconception people have about you? Darlene: That I am a very mean girl at first glance. CosmicTribune: What part of you gets the most compliments? and what part of you never looks as good as you might wish? Darlene: My eyes and my smile get the most compliments. I would like to have bigger calves. CosmicTribune: Who would you consider your biggest influences? Darlene: My Mother is my main influence thanks to her support. CosmicTribune: What are you wearing right now? Darlene: Shorts and a white tank top CosmicTribune: Most embarrassing moment on a model shoot? Darlene: My bottom bikini strap popped off and I was naked for a second |
